New Products coming soon to our E-Shop

We went to the annual Toy Hobby & Nursery Fair on Friday last week to source out more toys and gifts for us to stock at our E-Shop over the year. Glad to say that we have come across so many interesting, innovative and also high quality products. Here’s a taste of what’s to come:

Picture Talk - Beach

Picture Talk (Beach) - Creative Edu Aids

  • This puzzle is great for promoting speech and literacy. Encourage your child to use their vocabulary by naming the objects in the puzzle that they are putting together. Describe the scene, and talk about YOUR day at the beach you’ve had. Ages: 4 and up

    Bronco - Recent Toys International

    Bronco - Recent Toys International

  • This puzzle is similar to Wurrm. Help Bronco escape from the horseshoe-shaped arena. Looks easy, but it sure is tricky! Ages: 6 and up

Duo Puzzle - Smart Games

Duo Puzzle - Smart Games

  • Made from excellent quality wood, this puzzle requires your child to recreate the challenge by placing the timber pieces onto the board. Your child will be given a challenge card with a picture and he/she would have to figure out which shapes to use to recreate the picture given. Ages 3-6

Chicken Shuffle - Smart Games

Chicken Shuffle

  • Remember those puzzles where you have to slide the pieces on a board to get the complete image? Well, this is a similar concept. The difference is, you are given challenge cards to put into the board. Your challenge is to make sure that each chicken is resting on an egg, without getting the other chickens wet! Ages: 6 and up

Paris Wall Decal

Paris Wall Decals

  • The Eiffel Tower, hot air ballons…why not recreate the scene on your child’s bedroom wall with these fantastic removable wall decals. Made from excellent quality and will not leave a sticky residue or damage your paintwork. Remove and re-apply again and again! We will also be stocking other designs.

Balancing Ship - HaPe

  • Made from Bamboo, this game is great for the young and old. Roll the dice and place the chosen object onto the ship, making sure you don’t topple the goods over! Ages: 3 and up.

Rapido

Rapido - HaPe

  • Eco friendly and fun at the same time. Rapido is a game of skill and agility. Be the first to pick the coloured wooden balls up with your special wooden stick. Make sure they are in the right order specified by your colour stick. The first one with the correct sequence wins! Ages: 4 and up. Up to 4 players.

Besides what we sourced at the fair, we will also be bringing in the Kids Eco bags from Envirotrend. They come in an attached pouch with keyring attachment. Made from good quality fabric and tough enough to withstand the wear and tear that comes with children! Comes in 6 different  designs.

Shopping is not as easy as it seems

Shopping is not as easy as it seems

Went to the AGHA trade fair in August to look at what type of products I could stock on the Just Us Kids Online store. Never thought it would be so difficult to find my stock. It’s not so much that there is nothing out there, but more like too much out there. I had to stay focussed on what I really wanted and also find suppliers who were willing to supply to online stores – which weren’t that many really.

Just Us Kids Online are proud to say that the online store is underway and is aiming to go LIVE in September. I am now in the midst of receiving and buying more stock and also making some of the stock! So, stay tuned! We will have lots of exciting and also interesting products like wooden toys (can’t get enough of quality wooden toys), apparel with interesting appliques (all hand made by yours truly) made from lovely fabric, interesting choice of party favors (we don’t always need plastic or lollies), craft, interesting innovations like the Little Extension and many more!

With that I bid goodbye and hopefully the next blog entry would be of one that launches the website! :)

Cheers,

Norlin
