Ideas for Easter

The school term holidays are nearly here again. That’s how fast time really flies and well, I have to agree, we all need this much needed break from all the running around most of us have been doing during the first school term. Easter is also around the corner. Yes, it’s really a religious holiday, but even if you don’t celebrate Good Friday or Easter per say, doesn’t mean you can’t join in the fun!

Easter Egg Hunts:

It’s the Vision Australia’s Annual Bendigo Easter Egg Hunt. Their pre-paid tickets go on sale on 23rd March until 1st April at Vision Australia Bendigo. Or you can also purchase at the venue on the day! Apparently, there will be 75,000 Cadbury eggs to find! So don’t miss out!

Host Your Own Easter egg hunt

You can also organise your own Easter egg hunt.

Here’s a video on how you can arrange your own Easter egg hunt:

Some interesting tips there!
Making your own Easter basket
Also, instead of having to buy your egg collection baskets, why not have the kids make it themselves. Simply use an empty milk carton and decorate which ever way they like. Use stickers, or textas to draw on, and they can even tie a ribbon around the carton, the possibilities are endless. You can then poke holes on either side of the carton and attach a pipe cleaner as a handle.
Now, that will keep them busy!
